Just a Note

Hello friends... I hope you are well.

The sun is shining and we are promised some good weather for the next few days... Yay!
Ginger boy and I will be enjoying some time in the garden or I may even venture out for a coffee and to watch the world go by... I've really missed doing that.

Today I have 2 more cards to share...

I haven't used this die before... It arrived from Ali Express and I'd forgotten about it. I had a piece of photo paper that I'd used AI on and I came up with this.

I used my glitter pen over the AI - You have to let it dry and when it does, the sparkle is lovely. For the both flowers I used double sided tape on the AI piece before cutting so I didn't have to piece together all those little bits

And my second card today again uses up a few bits

The flower was stamped onto ink blended CS and painted both with water and more distress ink.

A couple more for my collection...

Have a wonderful day - I hope the sun is shining on you

Such soft and pretty cards, beautifully designed! I actually have been going a little more then usual with my daughter to lunch and shopping, after over 18 months it feels so good to get out, but still being very careful!

A super floral die and such bright and pretty colours of AI on the piece you have used to cut it from Ros, and love the added geometric die cut and sequins, and then the stamped and coloured flower and ink blended background, and some more lovely leftover bits including that pretty gold spotted vellum and the triangular stitched die cut which look great with it. The sun has been shining here and hopefully will continue over the weekend. x

Both cards are beautiful Ros, the colours on your AI background just pop off the page and I love the soft earthy tones of your flower on the ink blended background.

Oh I'm so happy to hear the sun is shining again, Ros! These wonderful cards are all the sunshine I'll have in my day, I'm sorry to report - but they are so gorgeous! Smart move to use double-sided tape on that new die!
Both really beautiful!

So, so beautiful my friend! LOVE that first design ... I have a similar die that I'm now inspired to get out and case your card! Sorry I've been MIA ... been a rough week! Picked up a bacterial infection so ran a fever for 5 days and FINALLY got into a doctor and am on the mend.
Yes things are opening up here in Ohio though I'm still cautious of when & where I go out ... still don't want to be in big crowds of people.
Enjoy your sunshine ... it's raining here today.

Super cards Ros...but as I have said before you never fail to produce show stoppers. Where is this sunshine then? it hasn't appeared over here yet! Have a good weekend. xx

Two beautiful note cards using your scraps, Ros. Love the die cut poinsettias with your alcohol ink scraps and your pretty soothing 2nd die cut flower on your 2nd card. Happy to hear you are having sunny days...that is always inspiring. We have sunshine for our Memorial Day long weekend. My twin Margie and I will be visiting our family grave sites on Sunday and enjoy arranging flowers from our gardens while we share our memories:-) We have 4 generations plus many extended family and friends in the same beautiful cemetery overlooking the water. We always run into friends and family while there too. We will wear our masks and keep our distance. Love and Hugs...Nancy

Two really great cards. I love that you partially inlaid the first one and that little trellis in the background works really well. Your layout and lovely ink blending on the second is so stylish, well done xx

It's so nice to hear you're having some sunshine! I hope it keeps up for you. We could use some rain. We've had plenty of cloudy skies and cool days, but it produces almost no rain. Does not bode well for the forests later this summer. Your AI and the die produced some beautiful flowers! I like how you turned them and popped up one. Cute little border piece for them to grow against. Your second card is another beauty for your stash, all painted in the soothing colors I love so much.

Ros, oh how I've missed seeing your cards. Sorry I haven't been around lately, but hopefully now I'm back regularly. Both your cards are so amazing. You always have such unique layouts, and display your focal point very well. Love them both. Hope you have been keeping well. Hugs,
