All's well..

 Hi friends!

It's been a while since I posted and though I still don't have anything to share with you, I just wanted to let you know that I'm just taking time out to do other things  There is so much to do and the weather has been favourable to finally gets to grips with stuff that needs doing in the garden.

I've spent the last few weeks clearing borders, chopping down overgrown trees, trimming back huge laurels, repairing a leaking fountain and swing chair and re-modelling a new area. It's all been hard and heavy work and I'm not as agile as I used to be but we're slowly getting there. I'm still being creative it's just that my creativity is outdoors right now.

I hope you are all well and as it is now raining and DH is golfing I'm going to catch up with your blogs...

Enjoy the upcoming weekend

Till soon

I'm glad all is well Ros and that you have been working in your garden. We all need to do other things sometimes and it would be lovely to see some photos when it is all done. I have not been very productive on the card front recently either and some challenges have come and gone and like you there have been other things pulling me away from crafting at the moment. Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog today, much appreciated. x

I guessed it! You are having fun, even if it is hard work, Ros - just think, you'll soon be able to sit with a cold drink, and admire all the fruits [and flowers] of your labor!
So happy to 'see' you this morning - happy Summer!

Yes I am pretty much like yourself at the moment Ros. Catching up on those jobs I really should have done through lockdown!....And of course the garden, since the weather was favourable x. Always good to take time out and to catch up. Thinking of you Ros x.

I totally get the outdoors catch up work, Ros. That is what we have been doing for the last couple of months. Denny has the veggie garden all in and I have been picking strawberries and now starting on the blueberries and soon the loganberries. I freeze the excess. Our veggie/berries fenced garden is 50 ft by 100 ft. Denny does all the tilling, weeding and watering. I do the harvesting, freezing, yummy dinners, etc. I have been doing weeding on most of the flower beds and rock garden and hand watering. Denny does all the pruning of trees, mowing and the hard weeding and much more. I take care of the house. Yes, a lot of work, but we Love the results. TFS what you have been doing with your time, my friend. Enjoy the rain break:-) Love and Hugs, Nancy

Good to hear that you're enjoying some creative time in your garden Ros...... love doing that myself and had a massive clean up just recently, and now the mornings are a bit nippy it just nice to wander around and enjoy it - my zygotes are in bud with one surprising me this week, so pretty. And with the cooler weather I am really enjoying my crocheting in the evenings, not too hot and humid to handle the yarns. Anyway, looking forward to seeing some of your amazing artwork..hugs Robyn

Thanks for popping in and letting us know 'all is well' (one just never knows when someone disappears for awhile). We too are in the middle of a big project outside ... putting an additional pad area off the side of our deck where we will have a solo stove (fire ring) for evening get togethers with neighbors around the fire w/wine & snacks. It's a big job and hopefully we will have it ready by my birthday (mid July). Enjoy the beautiful outside weather ... I know I am!! Feels SO GOOD to be outside these 4 walls. HUGS & be safe!

Well done for getting on with things, you will feel so good when you have it all straight, but the trouble with gardens is they are never done. Bit like crafting in that respect I suppose! Glad all is well with you though. Your cards are so special that they are worth waiting for xx

It is kind of you to let us know that all is well with you! (You know, the imagination can run away with us sometimes.☺)

Hi Ros, good to hear from you! Glad to hear you are doing well. I think yard work is never done. I've been spending a lot of time outdoors as well, the weeds just keep growing, pulled out a couple of older plants that are on their last leg, and added some new. We have had a lot of rain thursday and friday, yesterday we had rain in the morning but turned out to be a nice (very warm) in the afternoon. Today strong winds, almost 100F with the humidex. A bit too warm for me. Decided to come in and may be work on a card. Enjoy the outdoors while you can, look forward to a post from you when time permits. Have a good week, hugs,

I get it, Ros. This is the time to take your creativity outdoors, and by the time you're done you just need to rest. Same here. Tending LuLu and the garden, and trying to keep the house decent has kept me off the computer for over a week. All my posts were scheduled ahead of time. Today I finally sat down here to do a little visiting, but I'll never be caught up. I'm glad all is well with you!
