It's just a quick post, squeezing in at the last minute with a card for the
I hadn't planned on entering, I don't buy magazines, but I came across a little advert on a perfume sample that sparked me into action
The tiny perfume bottle was enough to use with tulip stamps ( Clearly Besotted). I was originally going to use the whole row of tulips but I ended up cutting just the 2 coloured ones.
The background circle they are on was a left over piece of paper from some ink blending I did... I just really liked the colours and shapes.
The sentiment is made up from 2 stamps (a very old set by Waltzing Mouse) which I cut to get the 2 words. They didn't want to 'bend' into a curve but I found by adding some double sided tape to an acrylic block I was able to manipulate them.
The tiny bits of pollen (dots) that form a heart are just done with a glitter pen.
A final note...My CT injection was ... Not something I would be eager to go through again in a hurry but fingers crossed that in a few days those same fingers will be pain free.

What an eye catching design. The little tulips look fabulous Ros with the technique. The aperture draws your eyes right into those little gold hearts too. Great shapes and tonal colours and an amazing card. Let's hope the CT injection helps Ros x.

Beautiful color of tulips, very elegant card! I certainly hope your shots work, I had my left hand operated on about 7 years ago for nerve damage, it didn't work so my choice was to live with it or they would operate on my neck nerves, I chose to live with it as they weren't cutting on MY neck lol, so now my left hand, 2 fingers are tonally always numb.
You do CAS so beautifully Ros, and this Tulip card is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Such a wonderful technique to use up all those little bits & bobs we tend to save!! Glad to hear you survived the injection and I'm sending prayers that you'll be feeling some relief soon!! Hugs. :0)
What a fabulous design and such a clever idea to use the perfume sample and the rich golden bronze looks great with the sweet little tulips, and I love the ink blended scrap piece, and the little glitter pen dots in the shape of a heart look great, and thanks for the hint about the double sided tape to help hold the a sentiment into a curve. I do hope the injection works well...fingers crossed! x

OH WOW this is awesome my friend! How unique and what a clever trick using the tape on your stamping block (will have to remember that one! lol). Praying the shot works for you and you get pain free use back in your fingers! Always something isn't it?? Have a great day ... HUGS

Oh, my goodness, the colors! Your ink blended circle coordinates beautifully, and those tulips are simply gorgeous! If only real tulips came in that color. If your CT injection gives you lasting relief it will be worth it, but I'm sorry you had to go through that. I had a couple of cortisone injections in my thumb years ago and that hurt like crazy, but probably small stuff compared to your CT injection.
I love these gorgeous tulips in deep Amber, Ros! The colors of the background circle match the flowers, and you did a great job of bending the sentiment stamps.
I hope your fingers are pain free by now. :-)

Beautifully done Ros that ink blending is pure heaven and those tulips....are heavenly. Funnily enough, I was looking at my Waltzing Mouse stamps today after a lonnnnnng break I loved their stamps such a shame they are no longer. Do hope that you will find a resolution to your health problems.
