Cards

 Well hello!
I hope this finds you well. We've experienced a lot of storms lately and apart from losing a lot of fencing around our property we are okay.
Thanks so much for all your support regarding my health issues - I have come to terms with what has to be done and later today I am having a CT injection in the hope that it relieves me of the pain I am struggling with. I discovered that I also have a problem with high pressure in one of my eyes and the optician has no clue why... I don't do things by half do I?
 BUT
I had a wonderful week last week with friends visiting, lunching with my GF's and my brother Ron came over and he had my other brother Rick in tow. I haven't seen him for about 5 years and I was so Happy! It was wonderful and gave me the lift I needed

So yesterday I did managed to make a few cards... My fingers don't grip too well but I have so many sketched and painted pieces and bits that I ought to use up so I'll share a couple today and maybe some later in the week...
First up is an anniversary card for my friend

I drew and painted the image and added a little bit of card that was embossed and swiped with a platinum ink pad then added glitter and gold leafing the to image

I'm just squeezing this in at
The next card is a birthday card I made using up one of my painted pieces and a flower I painted ages ago from  digital stamp I got from Etsy

The centre of the flower is done with liquid pearls

Sometimes I just find pieces that go together and I think these work well together and I'm entering it at

The Flower Challenge

As always I wish you a beautiful day... I'll visit you all soon

Take care

Wow, both cards are stunning! The first one with the gold edges is so pretty and creative, it's gorgeous!! The second card wowed me too and I LOVE the centers of the gorgeous flower, so beautiful! I am so happy for you that you got to see your other brother, I bet that was a nice day! Hope you are feeling better soon, I certainly know how things go down hill fast after my mini stroke last year, NOT fun at all! Two fabulous cards Ros and the first combining your wonderful hand drawn flowers and love the colours you have used with that touch of gold foil..gorgeous! The second is beautiful too with the digi image wonderfully painted and the background flowers and leaves are just perfect..I love the perfect pearls for the stamens too, and the designs with the added embossed panel and soft pearl ink on the first, and the aperture and added scored lines down the side on the second..brilliant additions and finishing touches. I sincerely hope the injection will reduce the pain you are suffering at the moment. x

Absolute beauties, Ros! I'm in awe, as always, but my jaw is particularly dropped today. The gold touches and embossed panel are stunning. Your art is exquisite, including your coloring of the Etsy flower. I'm glad you had some happy times. I sure hope you'll have some relief soon.

OH WOW! Both of these cards are just AMAZING my friend! LOVE that gold edging (what a clever idea ... will have to give that a go! lol). How sweet that you got to spend some time with your brothers. I actually got to see both of my sisters for a short while yesterday but haven't seen my brother since last summer ... he's not that far away so hopefully we can link up soon.
You have certainly had your share of health issues and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. I think of you often and when I do I toss a little pray up into the heavens for you!

Now have a little chuckle Ros, I was remembering when I first met you via Our Beautiful World - sharing our photos... I joined the team in Apr 2014 and I'd been posting photos to OBW for about a year... wow time does fly... so I had a look back into your blog... wow wow wow, your artwork way back then is amazing and I can still see your unique style (in brackets.. my stuff has evolved sooo soo much) - your cards are so special and now your hand drawn and painted cards are so inspiring... two fabulous cards on this post, and news of your health...so I'm sending a virtual hug and hope you can continue to delight me/us - keep well my friend, Robyn

Two amazing cards Ros. I LOVE the glittery design with the heart vine and flowers. It's so beautiful and incredibly unique. The embossing paste design in the background makes the perfect pairing.

Your second card is STUNNING! LOVE the purple layered flower and buds in the background. The stamens are so pretty! xx
