March Reminder CAS Watercolur Challenge

Hi there...

Heck, we are halfway through March already... Can you believe it?

We are also halfway through the month long challenge at

CAS Watercolour Challenge

Where Birgit and I are both guest designing...

Here's my card for the reminder

I took full advantage of the curling vellum to make those pretty butterflies, stamped and embossed and painted with distress inks

The butterflies are from Clearly Besotted and I stamped 4 half butterflies, fussy cut them and painted all 4. It's much easier to fussy cut vellum I find.

To get the sparkle on the letters, I first stamped and embossed a piece of card with a 'sea waves' stamp (Aliexpress) and then cut the letters... It gives a nice random pattern.

Hop on over to the blog to see what the rest of the team have created to inspire you ...

A huge Thank You to the team for having me as a guest this month
Enjoy your day

Your butterflies are so gorgeous with this combination of colours on the vellum, Ros! And great to take advance of the curve from watercolouring ... the shaping and layering of your butterflies really gives them lots of depth and dimension. What a cool way to get a random bit of sparkle on your die-cut words. So clever and creative! Thanks againg for being our Guest Designer at CAS Watercolour! xx

I always find something new to try when I come to visit Ros and the way you created partially embossed letters is my take home from this one! What a pretty card and your delicate butterflies are just beautiful. Hope you have survived all the stormy weather and are ready for a settled time now.

Your watercoloring on the vellum made for some beautiful butterflies to flutter on your gold embossed card!

Your watercoloring is so beautiful. I love the dimension on them and the design. Great card. I scrolled down and love your balloons done in alcohol inks. Gorgeous! I know how annoying restless legs are. I buy a product at the big box store called Restful Legs. You dissolve it under your tongue and it really helps. It comes in a little tube like package.
