Lala Land Residents

Hello... How are you all doing?

Fancy a walk in Lala Land with me? I found some old friends had moved there too
Remember this sweetie?

(Yes.. I pulled out a couple of neglected stamps) He now lives in Lala Land on Mrs Trimble's farm and is happy as can be, plenty of sunshine and plenty of grass

And I also came across the twins (aka The chicks)

Personality wise, the chicks couldn't be more different, Lulu here likes to stay close to home

Whilst Lily is adventurous and often wanders around the fairy woods

She's fascinated by the little people who live here

Do you feel better now?

Before I leave you I wanted to tell you about something weird and wonderful that's appeared in my garden. There's no doubt that the air is cleaner since lock down and the garden is blooming. Mr. C has taken to weeding the garden to keep him occupied but unfortunately he doesn't know a weed from a flower so I keep a keen eye on him when I can and sad to say I've lost a lot of things he thought were weeds... Anyway, I noticed something trailing down from a dogwood bush yesterday... Now I'm not marvellous when it comes to naming plants but I'm pretty sure this is a variety of clematis that suddenly appeared

There are definitely no roots on my side of the fence so I can only assume it's come from the wooded area behind us...

...And it's in abundance! Really difficult to photograph though

Can you see all those buds? It seems to have just happened over 2 days... Weird but pretty wonderful

Okay, I'm guessing you need a cup of coffee now, I do

Take care and be safe

~ Ros ~

Adorably CUTE cards, I have never seen these stamps before, so was fun seeing them!! Not sure what the vine is but sure is pretty, the flowers are shaped kind of like tulips, your gardens are so far ahead of mine, the deer ate the tops off my Hostas and the blue jays are pulling out the dead for nests, I need about a million of them and then my gardens would be cleaned, hah! I won't let my hubby help in cleaning the gardens as I call him 'big foot' as he tromples all over, but he had done other garden things I have asked, he is bored what can I say lol!!

I love your sweet cow and chickens accompanying your flowers and your additional doodles are just terrific Ros. I especially adore your lines of washing and the hen house and two storey toadstool property..very desirable...lol. The clematis looks very pretty and I had no idea that it grew wild, but there are lots of flowers to come so should be blooming for quite a while yet, and I do think that the better air is having a good effect on everything including the amount of birds and animals that are enjoying the peace and quiet and are therefore more in evidence. x

Oh Ros...you definitely brought a smile to my face today! I love the sweet cow hanging out amongst the laundry and he certainly looks happy, but Lulu and Lily totally crack me up...too, too CUTE!! Love your little miracle in the garden too...how nice to be seeing anything green right now! We're still a few weeks away from seeing any real color yet, although my Daffodils did survive the snow last week so I do have that pop of yellow that's keeping me happy! Take care!! :0)

Oh Ros...where to start? Your cards and the story behind them...just wonderful. I think you should be writing and illustrating children's books in your spare time...lol! Defo looks like a clematis and so pretty...nature is wonderful! xx

Oh Ros, your cards today are fabulous. Everyone of them makes me smile! The cow is so cute, as is Lulu and Lily. I love the story you share with these, and all the details in your drawings. Again you blow me away with your creativeness! So hard to pick a favourite here but I'm going with Lily among the fairy woods. As for your clematis, what a lovely surprise. You will have to share a picture when it fully blooms, as I'm sure it will be beautiful! Take care and be safe Ros,
Hugs,

Fabulous Ros.... yeah I think we could all get out "those" stamps we got way back when and thought they were the bees knees...oh boy how my tastes and style have changed.... love your cards and the stories and I'm pretty sure you've been painting again. Gardening... I have a DH who thinks he's ok in the garden but well we'll leave it there... I love my garden and anything poking over the fence is welcome - except weeks - one neighbour is shocking and the town council workers just want to go mad with anything electrical and weed spray....enough, we're all good, the sun is shining we had a good down pour last night so it'll be a stinky humid day today, take care Ros - love the clematis, hugs Robyn

I feel totally cheered seeing your cards today, Ros! The best of both worlds -- a little fun stamping, a little of your fabulous artwork to go with them. Absolutely fantastic! I remember you using the chicken, but I don't remember the cow. She sure is a cutie! I totally love the clothesline and all the rest of the backgrounds you drew. You're amazing. I do believe that might be a clematis! Holy cow, just out of nowhere? Could it be a passion vine? Those are very vigorous, but the flowers are easily recognizable. How wonderful!

Ros, such fun cards with the cow and the chickens. Great backgrounds for them.
We are having to pull out the sprinklers her in Vancouver, it's been weeks since we've had rain :)

You've take three really cute stamps, and created a whole world of wonder for them to live in, Ros! So wonderful!
I spy with my little eye a lovely butterfly among your Clematis [?] what a gift Mother Nature has bestowed upon you!

LOL ... OMG how adorable are today's creations Ros! Certainly brightened my day! LOVE LuLu & Lily ... so much fun! Awesome coloring and designs!!
As far as your garden surprise ... how nice is that! And, they are beautiful. Quick question though ... on the second photo, is that a greenish colored butterfly I see right about the middle of the photo? or are by eyes deceiving me? Sure looks butterfly shaped to me! LOL Either way, your new found florals are beautiful!

Not only are your cards beautiful but the accompanying tales to match are so sweet. Beautifully coloured and definitely frame worthy. Have to keep an eye on my hubby too he has pruned our plants to within an inch of their lives.

Take care

Marie
