Beak to Beak

Hello there... I hope you are all well?

I had my first vaccination this morning and I'm counting down the months, I'm hoping that come summer we will be enjoying a much better life.

So Valentine's ... Did you get something nice?
I got beautiful red roses, chocolates and a card.
DH got one of my duck cards..

I made this sometime ago and thought it would be ideal for Valentine's... He loved it

I also have a little painting to share with you... Meet Tinker

She has a lot of mouths to feed and knows that one of the best times to collect food is when it's raining - There are very few cats about! Her umbrella keeps her dry whilst she forages and then she put everything in the open umbrella to take home.

Today she managed to fill her umbrella with a lots of of nuts and seed but the rain was heavy. Thankfully there are always a few mushrooms to shelter under.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today, I'll be catching up with you all soon

Be safe be happy

~ Ros ~

I love your sweet ducks beak to beak Ros and a great card to give your Hubby for Valentine's Day, and the cute mouse foraging and using her umbrella to carry her hoard. I love the way you have done the rain too with some glossy accents dripping down the card. So pleased to hear you have had your jab, and I had mine on Tuesday and did feel a bit shivery when I went to bed and have felt just slightly the same today, but nothing bad and it is wonderful to have had it at last. x

Both are beautiful cards Ros! Oh my goodness love the ducks, and so perfect for Valentines. And then comes Tinker!! What a sweet adorable mouse. Love the little scene you created, and look at that birch tree, it looks so real as do those rain drops! The sentiment is just perfect. I can't wait to see what new creations you come up with. I'm always in 'awe' of your paintings. Good for you for your first vaccination. I don't think we will see ours until late summer early fall is what they are predicting here in Ontario. Take care, sending hugs.....

Awwww, so sweet! I just know your guy was delighted with your darling smoochie ducks. The background looks very dreamy, as though you can see the love in the air! I'm so happy to see the arrival of Tinker now, too. Adorable little thing, and wise to choose her days carefully. Love the rain and the birch tree. You are as good a storyteller as you are an artist. It's good news that you've started on your vaccinations. A lot of people here in the US have gotten theirs, but we're still way behind in my area.

By now I wonder what I enjoy more: the cards or the stories that you create to go with them! When it comes to Larry, there were a couple of very good months for mice, it was like a moratorium on mouse hunting. It has now either been lifted or Larry ignores it...
